Pigeon Girl (Again)

Pigeon Girl
Long gone
Someone new
To take her place
Where pigeons still come
For the fallout
Of workers’ lunchtime rush
And find nothing
But this replacement
Pigeon Girl, version two
Quietly clinical
Under medical mask
Tupperware fresh
Breadcrumbs
Brought from home
So kind of her
To think of them
I suppose
Histoplasmosis
Is now less of a worry
