I was worried what the response to my video might be, possibly because I thought people might have thought I was cheating them somehow. One or two people questioned the video, imagining that I didn’t like people watching. But as I think I make clear in my video, I don’t have a problem with it in theory, I just believe you should treat others as you would want to be treated. (Also, I never mentioned it in the video, but I studied film, and I know not to film people without their permission.) The Art Assignment ended up including me in the project update video. Which was nice as I had ultimately considered that because I was rebelling against them I might be ignored. When you follow or are a fan of someone or something online it’s easy to believe that if you don’t agree with their point of view that such a thing would happen. The fact that I wasn’t, gave me a great feeling of respect for Sarah and the makers of the show. You can see the update video here (I’m at 1min 30secs):
