Tonight
We will all sleep
Naked
How delicious
To reach out
Across the dark sky
And touch
The bare knowledge
That we do not sleep naked
Alone
The night air
Tingling at our skin
Transporting
The touch
Of a thousand thoughts
Hidden in this daily life
Warmed into being
Like steam
From a boiling pot
If only
We were brave
Enough
In the light
To our bare ourselves
Perhaps
Even on the coldest of nights
We would sleep naked
Never to be alone, again
